London & Partners select TopBrewer for modern, streamlined workplace
London & Partners is the official promotional organisation for London to attract businesses, events, congresses, students and visitors to the capital.
In January 2015 they completed the refurbishment of their offices at 2 More London Riverside, with its iconic location and stunning views across the River Thames.
As part of the refurbishment, and in conjunction with the Trampery, London & Partners have also created the Traveltech Lab , a new innovation co-working space – the first of its kind focusing on travel technology and supported by the Mayor of London.
To complement this new streamlined workspace, the TopBrewer sits neatly in the new communal café area used by staff, partners and visitors.
Joe Firestone, of Progress Work Place Solutions, explains how the TopBrewer fitted the design brief:
"The office re-design had to create new space for the Traveltech Incubator within the same floorplate, so an agile workspace was developed to achieve this. The café is a fundamental part of this new agile office and is in constant use throughout the day. In fact, London & Partners is one of the most agile working environments you are likely to see."
"For us, the TopBrewer was simple to install and enabled us to create a more spacious and clutter-free work surface. As well as being good value for the client, from a total-cost-of-ownership perspective, the 'wow' factor of using the iPad to select drinks is a great focal point. It helped us to encourage staff to use the café whenever possible, thus freeing up workstations from the main office area. Feedback from staff is very positive and Progress will be recommending TopBrewer again, for sure."
Aliki Georgiou, Facilities Manager at London & Partners, is delighted with the outcome:
“The TopBrewer not only looks gorgeous, but also provides a wide choice of hot and cold drinks including sparkling water. Staff here love using it and, using the TopBrewer app on their phones, or using the iPad, they customise hot drinks to their own particular taste. The mocha option has gone down particularly well and the drinks capacity has been set to our own mug size, so is really flexible.”
Previously, London & Partners used kettles and vending for coffee and tea, but sought a quality drinks solution with a minimalistic look, using innovative technology for this new, contemporary workspace.
